Hey all! Happy New Years. I’m a quite a few days before my next check comes in and I don’t have any fare for public transit to my job. I’m currently helping support my partner with the income from my job as a caregiver while she’s free lancing and job searching. I even had to work New Year’s Eve because I couldn’t afford to take the day off. Money for public transit is really essential for me to get to work. I have previously been ticketed for being too poor to pay to go to work and its not something I want to get caught doing again as it could endanger my access to public transit and thus employment all together.
